Q.) I saw in your auction that you have other gearsavailable. I have a 1995
Mustang GT with the AOD(automatic) transmission. I recently purchased
3.73gears and needed the Speedo meter Gear to correctwhat I anticipate to be
an issue with speedometerand odometer. Do you have a gear that will fit
the95 AOD tranny?
A.) Hello,this 23 tooth gear will correct 3.55 gears in a 95and be as close as
you can get for the 3.73 ratio.Your speedo will read a little fast with the 23
tooth. Many just do that,get it close.If you choose to BUY IT NOW I will send
you a 23 tooth gear.You also have the option to use the electronic speed
calibratersince you 95 does not have a speedo cable.It will correct any gear or
tire combo. It is $99.00 plus shipping.And requires some basic installation.

A.) Hello, the AOD gear has a longer shank coming off theend. Ford made
them different like that but I am notsure why. I believe the shorter 5 spd. One
will workin all applications but the long tip on the AOD gearwill not work in the
t-5. It will hit the case. The 23tooth gear will correct the 3.55 ratio in 90-93
butis as close as you can get to the 3.73 and 4.10 gears.Unless you install a
pre 1990 AOD or change the drivegear inside a T-5. Also I have found this
web sitethat offers a gear reduction unit which requires adifferent cable.
